Our modern world is designed for disconnection from those around us. And yet, as humans, we need to be connected, and we need to feel truly seen and heard in order to feel alive. It is from this fundamental place that I begin all of my work with clients.
I see you. And I hear you. You matter.
And from this starting point, we can work toward creating the change you seek in your life.
Sawubona
A Zulu greeting that says, "I see you." It means "I see your personality. I see your humanity. I see your dignity and respect." It is a powerful reminder of what connects us.
Ngikhona
In response to sawubona, it means, "I am here." It conveys the feeling that you have been seen and understood and that you feel that your personal dignity has been recognized.
What do you want to work on?
The thoughts that keep you stuck?
Changing damaging patterns of interacting with others?
Learning to accept the unchangeable parts of your experience while moving toward important life goals?
Difficult emotions that seem to derail you when they bubble up?
